In my spare time I wanted to learn more about modeling in 3D Studio Max, so I decided to create a 3D penguin wearing a christmas hat as it was that time of year. It also helped me in my texturing as I wanted it to look like a cartoon, so had to create a texture using Ink and Paint. The overall effect is quite good as it does show a resemblance to a cartoon penguin.
