While on my University placement, I did not have the opportunity to advance my ActionScript skills. As I had learnt quite a lot about programming on my placement, I decided that I wanted to try and use the skill I had learnt to adapt them into ActionScript. As I am a keen guitarist, I wanted to create a learning tool for the guitar, which would show different scales and chords. I created this with the input of my own guitar tutor, Steve Dunne which he now uses with his other students. I wanted to make this program as dynamic as possible, so I read all of the data in from XML files and created my own classes to store this data.
